CopyCat includes Electron, Node.js, React, Playwright, the GitHub Copilot SDK and other open-source components. Their licenses and attribution are provided with the packaged application. Review the bundled notices for the exact release inventory; service providers have their own terms. The final redistribution inventory remains a release gate.

  1. Download the DMG, open it and drag CopyCat into Applications.
  2. Open CopyCat from Applications. Follow macOS’s normal signed-app prompts; do not disable Gatekeeper.
  3. Grant Screen Recording when capturing, Accessibility when using desktop tools, and Automation for each app you choose to control. Settings → Permissions explains denial and later approval.
  4. Choose Connect CopyCat. In the browser, sign in using the email-code flow, confirm the connection and return to the desktop app.
  5. Buy prepaid credits in the portal when needed, then record a task, review its instructions and verify the result of each run.
